Colour me in!

picture was found here.

In light of recent colouring ins that i have been doing, i thought i'd make a spare of the moment swap on SWAP BOT!

I don't know if it's something people will go for on this network, but i thought in a way it would be a good experiment to see if people have a crack at it, and what people come up with (while secretly helping me practice my colouring in skills)!

Check it out here

P.s. By the way, I can't wait to see what the finished carriages look like the scribble project's team scribble book.... hopefully not too many more sleeps to go!

Welcome Aboard!

~ Hello There ~

Welcome to my blog!

The way I describe this blog is that it is a collection of bits and bobs, thoughts, some personal reminders and some creations here and there.

If you get a chance, I recommend scrolling down and checking out my first ever Mini ‘Zine I made for a swap earlier this year (Ghost ‘Zine). I’d love any feedback!

Also something I have recently started is drawing on templates provided from “The Scribble Project”

There is a flickr group set up where doodlers share their creations, and this is where I have recently placed what I have come up with! I have found it to be a great way to get back into drawing while getting past any creative gremlins and their obstacles of fear (that’s what I call them anyway!).

I hope you having a lovely day, week, year, millennium, and that you enjoy this quick swap :)

Warm Regards

Mini Zine Covers

Procrastinating from: Study and assignments due last week

Listening to: Christian's laptop fan, mouse and keyboard clicking, and the fridge

I love Mini 'Zines! I was first introduced into these little pockets of creativity in May when i found and joined a Mini 'Zine swap on Swap-bot.

My first creation was a was a short comic about 2 ghosts. Pretty cute little guys. I hope to make some more Ghost 'Zines soon.

The following month i made Mini 'Zines for another swap. Inspired by the range of Zine's i had received from around the globe, i thought i'd do something different and do a bit of a write up about myself. It was a bit of a "bonus" edition as the first Ghost 'Zine was featured on the opposite side of the page.

I have started some new Mini 'Zine covers however have not signed up or started any swaps for them as yet. They were made from some clippings from free music newspapers i pick up from town during the week. The collage and pen work was a bit inspired from what people had previously sent me in their Mini 'Zines. One of the many great things about swapping!

I hope that the next few weeks will quiet down, and that after work i can get back into some painting, drawing and experimenting with ink (like what i used for the Ghost 'Zine). I'll also try and get some snaps of the guts from the first Ghost 'Zine and pop them up in here some time soon :)

Hope you have a great week
